Who we are

This website is run by Managed Spaces. For anything in this policy, including using your rights below, send a message through the Discuss your website form and say it is a privacy request.

What we collect and why

Enquiries

The Discuss your website form asks for your name, email address, business name and details of your spaces, together with optional answers such as your phone number, role, budget and notes. We use them to respond to your enquiry and to prepare for a conversation about your website. We rely on our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us, and on taking steps you ask for before an agreement. Please do not include anything you would not want us to read.

Analytics, only if you agree

If you choose to accept analytics, the website loads two analytics tags: Google Analytics, and Wordpresto, which is our own analytics service. Our legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. If you reject analytics, neither tag is loaded.

Google Analytics sets cookies and sends information about your visit, such as the pages you view, your device and browser and an approximate location, to Google. Wordpresto sets no cookies. It stores a random anonymous ID in your browser and sends us the address of each page you view and where you came from, the type of device you use, how far you scroll, how long you are active on the page, the links you click and repeated rapid clicks on one spot. It does not read what you type into forms. We use this to understand how the site is used.

Technical information

Like any website, our hosting provider receives your IP address and request details when you load a page, and these are used to deliver and secure the site.

Cookies and browser storage

The Cookie policy lists what the site stores in your browser. While you complete the enquiry form, your answers are saved in your browser so a refresh or a failed send does not lose them, and they are removed once your enquiry has been sent. The site also remembers your cookie choice in your browser.

Who we share it with

Wordpresto is run by us, so analytics events it collects are not shared with another company. The website does not keep a copy of your enquiry in a database; the email to our team is the record. Some of these providers may process information outside the UK and the European Economic Area, under the safeguards each of them describes in its own policies.

Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of your personal information, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it or stop using it, and you can ask for it in a portable form. Where we rely on your consent you can withdraw it at any time. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or to the data protection authority where you live.

Changes

We will update this page if what we do changes, and show the date it was last updated at the top.
